Aura Part 1 - What It Is And Why It Is Important

The Aura is important and if you understand what it is and gain your own then you can derive more from life and gain a greater understanding of other people. We often say people have aura about them but what does this actually mean?

This is an article in two parts. Part 1 will acquaint you with the aura; what it is and what it means. In Part 2 we show you to actually see your and other’s auras, and how such knowledge can be used to understand your own basic nature and physio-spiritual condition.

The word aura, itself is derived from the Greek (avra) meaning dawn, breath, or golden glow. An aura can be described as a particular atmosphere or quality that seems to surround a person or thing. An aura can also be described as the halo, which is used in Christian art and writings meaning a visible aura. In Eastern religions, the aura and halo are the same.

In today’s popular belief, the aura refers to an energy field (or some field) emanating from the surface of a person or object. This emanation can be visualized as an outline of cascading color and may be held to represent soul vibrations, chakric (the chakra being spiritual energy center’s within and without one’s body) emergence, or even a reflection of surrounding energy fields. Auras may be viewed by the naked eye, though it usually requires training. This training is a sort of focused concentration, and can enable or improve one's ability to see auras.

Auras often have layers, and these layers are separate and distinct yet connected to all the remaining layers. The imagines of Christian saints as well as Eastern holy images, all have golden auras, meant to reflect divine light. In metaphysics today, the aura is identified with electromagnetic fields.

Whatever the nature of the auric field (be it electromagnetic or otherwise). the existence of electromagnetic fields around every object in the known world is a scientifically proven fact.

The question is not whether auras exist or not, but if humans can see these electromagnetic fields as colors with the naked eye. However, these energy fields have been documented by a rare form of photography called Kirlian photography. In such photos, clearly observable fields of light emanate from any living creature and even inanimate objects.

Does an aura signify anything? Does it have a meaning? There is a popular belief that auras change colors and shapes with the changing moods and situations of each person. While some hold this to be true, some claim that there is no way to change one's aura, and that it is considered to be a universal spiritual signature.

It appears that only through conscious control, and perfected practice can the aura be used to identify a malfunction of the body, heal oneself and according to certain people, and change how one is perceived by the surrounding.

The emanating colors of the aura are often tied to special or hidden meanings. Some claim that the seven colors comprising the aura that emanate from the surface of the object are mystically tied to many other things, like the planets, days of the week, and the musical notes. The aura is also sometimes told to have more than seven colors, as explained below.

Blue: Balanced existence, sustaining life, eased nerve system, transmitting forces and energy. People with blue strong point in their Aura are relaxed, balanced are born survivors. Electric blue can overpower any other color in the Aura, when a person is receiving and/or transmitting information in a telepathic communication, they glow electric blue.

Turquoise: indicates dynamic quality of being, highly energized personality, capable of projection, influencing other people. People with turquoise strong point in their Aura can do many things simultaneously and are good organizers. Turquoise thought is a thought about organizing and influencing others.

Green: restful, modifying energy, natural healing ability. All natural healers should have it. People with a green strong point in their Auras are natural healers. The stronger the green Aura, he better the healer. Green thought indicates a restful state and healing.

Yellow: joy, freedom, non-attachment, freeing or releasing vital forces. People who glow yellow are full of inner joy, very generous and not attached to anything. Yellow halo around the head: high spiritual development. A signature of a spiritual teacher. Buddha and Christ had yellow halos extending to their arms. Yellow thought indicates a moment of joy and contentment.

Orange: uplifting and absorbing. Inspiring. A sign of power. Ability and/or desire to control people. When orange becomes a strong point, it usually contributes to a yellow halo, which then becomes gold, indicating not only a spiritual teacher. Orange thought is a thought about exercising power or a desire to control people.

Red: materialistic thoughts, thoughts about the physical body. Predominantly red Aura indicates materialistically oriented person.

Pink (=purple+red): love (in a spiritual sense). To obtain a clean pink, you need to mix the purple (the highest frequency we perceive) with red (the lowest frequency). Pink Aura indicates that the person achieved a perfect balance between spiritual awareness and the material existence. The pink color in the Aura is quite rare and appears only as a temporary thought, never as a strong point in the Aura.

Aura exists and we often say someone has it without realizing what it actually is this is a basic introduction what aura is and following articles will show you how to get an aura that will help you derive more from life.

To learn how to read the aura in yourself and others, read part 2.

Aura Part 2 - How To See And Read The Aura In Yourself And Others

How to see the aura...
To see the aura for the first time, it is best to begin with someone very familiar and patient. This exercise is designed to see Aura for the first time and after to practice seeing Auras. The choice of a good viewing condition is crucial: not only will you see the Aura better, but you will also gain confidence about what you see.

1. Place a comfortable stool (not a chair) in front of a very softly and indirectly illuminated simple white background (a white wall or a white bed sheet hung on a wall is perfect). Ask the subject to sit comfortably, with the spine in a straight line, with no slumping.

2. You must now choose only one spot on the subject to look at. The middle of the forehead, just above and between the eyes is ideal. This is a location of the Brow Chakra or the Third Eye. Look, rather “gaze” at this spot for 30 to 60 seconds or longer. Do not force your concentration, just gaze in a relaxed way.

3. After about a minute analyze the surroundings with your peripheral vision, while still looking at the same spot. Do not stop your concentration, keep gazing. Resist the temptation to look around.

You should soon see that the background nearby the person is brighter and has another color than the background further away. This is your own perception of the Aura. The longer you concentrate, the better you will see it. Remember, concentration on that one spot will increase your ability to perceive the aura. Continued practice on a regular basis will only enhance your ability to perceive the aura Recognition of the Aura.

Now, after the above exercise is finished (when you have perceived the aura), close your eyes. For a brief moment will see the aura only, without the subject. Take note that you have only one or two seconds until the photosensitive cells in your eyes will stop vibrating and sending visual sensations to the brain.

There are other sensors at work here as well, those of a non-physical nature, working in tandem with your nerve cells. Should you not see the aura in this exercise (with your eyes closed), begin again. As in everything, practice makes perfect.

Understanding what you have seen...
There is a long-standing argument that what is seen with the eyes closed are simply “after-images” rather than an auric vision. You can be sure scientists do not have instruments sensitive enough, nor sensors to measure what you have seen, as the physics of spirit are on a totally different scale and spectrum than that of the crude measuring devices in today’s world.

Of interesting note, the afterimages have a precisely the same shape as original images. You will have noticed that the afterimage of an object surrounded by its Aura is larger than the original image. The increase in such afterimage is due to the vibration of an Aura and actually represents a vignette of the Aura.

Understanding Our True Nature
It can be said our aura is a reflection of our true nature at any given moment. Our true nature is what is not affected by our habits, stereotypes, manners, and pretending, superficial behavior. As most people associate themselves to their manners and habits it is very hard, if not impossible, to understand who they really are. A very good way to get an instant insight into their personality seems to be by watching their aura, because the aura shows their true nature, behind any facade of superficial behavior.
Generally, the cleaner and brighter the colors of the aura, the more spiritually advanced are the person is. Also, it has been discovered that the more uniform the energy distribution in the aura, the healthier and more balanced the person is. Therefore, recognition of that energy distribution in the Aura may have a great potential of a useful and unique medical diagnostic aid.

Using the guide to the colors found in part 1 of this article, you can begin to gain a real insight to a person’s thoughts, their state of health, and even their true nature. Understanding aura helps you can a greater understanding not only of others but also your true nature as well.

Natural Solutions for Infertility Problems

Trying to have a baby can be both an exciting and exhausting journey. Like most little girls, you dreamed of being a mom one day. But when you're ready to make your dreams come true, it doesn't always happen like a fairy tale. Many women struggle to get pregnant and some go to great lengths and medical procedures to do so. There are many different options to choose from, it's a process of finding the one that works for you. Don't think that just because your best friend had great results with hormone treatments that you will get the same results. And before you make great efforts or spend your savings on expensive treatments and invasive procedures, don't forget there are a ways to treat infertility naturally.

"There is a spiritual solution to every problem."
~ Dr. Wayne Dyer ~

Law of Attraction
Bringing a child into the world is the most wonderful, fulfilling, and joyful human experience. When a woman has the desire to have a child, the desire is coming from deep within her soul and it can be very powerful. It is fueled within her by a love in her heart that is so true, so real, so unconditional. There is nothing more powerful than a mother's love. It is born from the same love that God (source energy) had when creating life. It is the energy that brings a soul into it's life experience.

Does the Law of Attraction work when trying to get pregnant?
Oprah thinks so.
The desire to have a child can be consuming. When we want something so "badly" there is an undertone of fear and doubt preventing faith and certainty. If the desire is strong and it is not met, doubt and fear sets in you may have thoughts such as "What if something is physically wrong with my body?" "What if I'm too old?" "What if I never return to my normal weight?" or "What if the baby is born sick or unhealthy?" These thoughts go out to the Universe and the Law of Attraction responds with the matching experience. The doubt is attracting the experience of not having it. The fear of it not happening actually creates it not happening.

When you hold the patterns of thought that you are incapable, unworthy or inadequate for conceiving a child, then you carry infertile energy. Once you drop the infertile energy, pregnancy usually comes very easily. The thing is, we don't always know we are carrying the energy, we are not always aware of our deepest subconscious thoughts. You are activating the Law of Attraction all the time, whether you realize it or not.

So what to do? First, consciously choose to increase your faith, confidence and hope. Then use these steps to put the Law of Attraction into action.

The Law of Attraction works in three simple steps. 1) BEING 2) DOING 3) HAVING
  • BEING- First, focus on the characteristics and qualities of BEING pregnant. Imagine having it, use your imagination and pretend that it is already in your existence. Experience the feeling of being pregnant.
  • DOING- Start doing things to support your desire. This is preparation for the HAVING. You can't have what you want if you don't take actions to prepare for it. Start nourishing your body and preparing for pregnancy with exercise and nutrition, make a pregnancy plan, do some "window shopping" at baby stores and online to pick out baby items, compare prices and brands on diapers and bottles, pick out a car seat and crib and bedding, etc.

  • HAVING - This is the easy part. This is where you reap the rewards and your desire manifests in your life experience. You have seen it before, you have already experienced manifestations in your life that were once a wish or desire. The Law of Attraction works in its own time and in it's own way, but if your intentions are in harmony with your souls desires, then it will not fail you.

Here are some more suggestions and techniques to help you find the right spiritual and natural fertility solution that works for you.

AffirmationsTalk yourself into believing you can do it. Studies have shown that self talk is extremely effective. It has been proven to lower stress levels and ease anxiety. People who have mastered the art of positive self talk have been shown to have more self confidence and success in life. Positive self talk is also known as Positive Affirmations. Use affirmations daily to increase your faith. Affirmations are short phrases or sentences that you repeat to yourself to instill a positive mindset about a situation. You are essentially sending messages to your subconscious mind that you want to evoke.

  • Examples of positive affirmations for pregnancy:
My body is strong and healthy and primed for pregnancy.
My pregnancy will be healthy and safe for me and my baby.
My body knows how to conceive, carry and give birth.
My baby will thrive and grow to be strong and healthy in my pregnancy
I accept labor and birth and trust my body.
    I am a good mother.
My baby is born into a loving and accepting family.
My pregnancy is surrounded by people who love and support me.

Create a Fertility Vision Board. Surrounding yourself with images of the life you want to create may help you create it! You have to see your goals clearly and specifically before you can set out to achieve them. A vision board is typically a large poster or board on which you paste clippings from magazines, newspapers, or other material that represents your wishes and wants. Personally I prefer using a bulletin board, because my wants and wishes are always changing and the bulletin board allows me to change my wishes easily. You can also create different vision boards for different wishes, if you wish. What you use is not important, you can use anything. A wall or the refrigerator will work just fine. Collect pictures and items that remind you of conceiving and being pregnant. In essence, you're creating the experience you want to have. Pictures of babies, beautiful pregnancy images, pictures of positive pregnancy tests, pregnancy quotations, stories, cartoons. Include your partner on your vision board, focus on keeping your marriage strong and healthy. Post a picture of the two of you happy and fulfilled with each other. Look at your vision board every day, several times a day if possible. When you look at your board, focus on your intention, hope, and faith, the joy and excitement of fulfilling your wishes. Imagine being in the experience. Really allow yourself to FEEL what it will be like to live the reality of your dream.

AromatherapyAromatherapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which pure essential oils from flowers, herbs, plants and trees are inhaled to produce a desired physiological, psychological or emotional effect for the purpose of affecting a person's well-being and health. Science has proven that scent has physiological and psychological effects. When a scent is inhaled, an area of the brain called the limbic system is activated. The limbic area of our brains is also called the emotional brain. It is where memories are stored, emotions are processed, and moods are stimulated. This is why smells can trigger our emotions and alter our moods. Aromatherapy is known to lower stress levels, decrease anxiety, help regulate periods, boost libido and general health overall.
By carefully selecting a fragrance with intention and inhaling it with concentration and visualization, you can maximize the effectiveness of any change you wish to create. Aromatherapy is an excellent way to help treat infertility. To get true therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy, pure essential oils must be used. These essential oils are particularly good for the reproductive cycle; Rose, Geranium, Melissa, Chamomile, Basil, Lavender & Jasmine. Read more about the benefits of aromatherapy and some familiar scents.

Hydrotherapy
This treatment revolves around using the health benefits of water to aid in stimulating the immune system - therefore helping improve chances of pregnancy. This charge to the immune system helps circulate the blood and possibly encourages reproductive health. In addition, hydrotherapy can also help manage issues associated with trying to conceive, such as worry and depression.

Acupuncture
With a history that dates back more than 2000 years, acupuncture is one of the most common forms of natural infertility remedies. The process involves placing small needles into specific areas of the body, to help unleash natural energy throughout the body. In addition, acupuncture is very popular in women that are having hormonal issues, endometriosis or trouble ovulating.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) EFT is treating emotional stress to relieve physical ailments. It is well known that stress has physical symptoms. EFT addresses the cause for emotional stress to heal pain, disease, and physical ailments. EFT can be used to treat infertility issues. Read these articles (from http://www.emofree.com/) to learn more about using EFT for infertility, you can even download a free EFT manual to learn to use the techniques on yourself.

What blocks Auras?

Basically, blocks in our chakras/auras stem from fear. When we feel afraid, we are resistant to what is happening or what we think might happen in the future. This causes us to try to prevent it from happening, and to do that, we constrict our energy, which prevents it from flowing freely. When we make a habit of this, over time blocks develop.

As for where all this fear comes from in the first place, we must remember that life in the physical is an experience in contrast. In fact, just the drive for physical survival generates all kinds of fear. From the time we are newborn babies, we are constantly struggling to get our needs met, whether those needs are for food, physical comfort, love, etc. When our needs aren't met, we experience fear and pain, and begin to develop all sorts of beliefs and habits designed to avoid further suffering.

Let's say that when Alice was very small, her mother left her for some reason. Maybe her mother died, maybe she got sick and had to be hospitalized for a long time, or maybe she just ran off with the mail man. Assuming this was a really traumatic experience for Alice, and she didn't get the help or support she needed to process this experience and heal from it, she may forevermore carry "abandonment" issues. Where is she "carrying" these issues? Most likely, they can be found right in her aura. In this case, I'd expect to find a "sore spot" or a hole in her rear heart chakra, which indicates pain or trauma in a past relationship.

Someone who carried a block or energy issue from a childhood experience like this might cope by deciding that they don't really need anyone else anyway, and choose never to become dependent on another person. They may believe that people can't be trusted, or if they internalized their wound and blamed themselves, keep others at a distance because they believe they are intrinsically unlovable or unworthy of having someone they can really lean on.

Entire books have been written about chakra/energy healing, but with a bit of thought and imagination, you can work out for yourself the infinite number of experiences that could cause someone to constrict their energy flow and develop a habit that leads to blocks or stuck energy in their aura. Further, it's easy to imagine what may be happening in our auras based on what we're experiencing. For example, if we feel like we just "can't think straight," odds are good that the state of our sixth chakra will reflect our confusion. If we are having trouble swallowing, there may be something in our life experience that we are having a hard time accepting. If we feel powerless or unmotivated, our solar plexus chakra will probably look dull, dim, blocked or unbalanced.

We must also remember that the appearance of the chakras is just one more symptom, not the ultimate problem. If a healer notes a block in a chakra, it doesn't mean that the chakra is the cause of whatever may ail us, but rather that there is a problem of some nature (physical, emotional, mental or spiritual) that needs to be healed and cleared.

Because we naturally repress conscious awareness of our own personal issues, I think it's helpful to compare the aura of the human body to the energetic life of a relationship. Bring to mind a very close, intense, personal relationship you have with someone like a lover or a best friend. (Using a lover or spouse is ideal, because romantic relationships tend to stir up all sorts of fears, and thus challenge many deep-seated emotional habits and issues.)

If you are at all a reflective person (and if you are reading this, you are!), you can see how when you are open and loving and honest in that relationship, the energy flows freely between you, but whenever you close yourself off, lash out in anger or fear, or lie in order to avoid something, the energy constricts or stops flowing. Then there are walls between you and a sense emotional distance that is hard to bridge.

The more you make a habit of finding the courage to be open and honest, the closer you two will be. The more you react from fear based on old emotional habits, the more tension and emotional distance there will be in the relationship, and the less healthy and fulfilling it will feel.

In order to clear the blocks to balance and intimacy in the relationship, those issues you are stuck on must be healed, and a new and better approach to them must be adopted. This is done by opening up about how you really feel. This first step toward new awareness and understanding is what you need in order to consciously create positive change.

The healing process is the same with our bodies. Where we have repressed, denied, avoided or resisted anything, we will remain pinched off or in unhealthy relationship to that issue until we bring it up, consciously face it, and choose to adopt a new belief, attitude or approach.

Since it is wise to work with the law of attraction, let's shift from focusing on what blocks chakras to what creates health, balance, and flow.

As what we don't want is to be blocked, it's easy to figure out that what we do want is to be open. When we don't view anything or anyone as being apart from us or against, but rather as a part of us, then we are open. When we really think about the word open, for that matter, it's easy to see that when we are open to something, someone, or some experience, we are not resistant to it. Being figuratively open means our auras are literally open and receptive.

The ultimate in being open is to be at one with everything we encounter. One who is fully open identifies with ALL. She recognizes that she creates her own reality, and the world she observes around her is thus her world. This leads to natural acceptance, openness and trust. To keep our chakras (and thus all of our beings) flowing smoothly, we must keep our minds open, our hearts open, our spirits open, and our arms open to life and every being we encounter.

This does not mean we lack discernment or discrimination, try to hug Grizzly bears, or literally say yes to everything or everyone who crosses our path. On a higher spiritual level, however, we are neither saying yes or no but rather something more like, This is interesting.

Being open means that we trust that everything happens for a good reason; we know that every experience comes to bless us in some way, even if it is just to teach us; and we remember that nothing can victimize us or oppress us, because we are constantly creating our personal realities based on what we give our attention to and how we decide to interpret our experiences.
