How To Keep A Clean Energy Field

The aura is a field of energy flowing closely around and extending out from your body. This field is composed of your consciousness, your level of awareness. When your consciousness is scared, angry, sick, sorrowful, hurt, resentful, or hostile, the aura becomes dark, thick, and heavy. It becomes a sticky mass of negativity. It will attract more negative energy and it will hold negative thoughts in its field, making a person feel physically ill and emotionally depressed. A negative aura also attracts other people’s negativity, which can clog the energy field further, weighing o you physically, mentally and emotionally.

The higher your state of consciousness, the lighter and clearer and healthier your aura will be. The flow of positive energy will be faster. If you are happy, hopeful, kind, loving,and friendly, your aura will be light, clear, and it will flow around you quickly. You will feel energetic and it will attract positive energy to you.

Symptoms of having a “clogged” or negative aura are feelings of being blocked, unexplainable or extreme anger, fears, sadness, depression, guilt, or anxiety, recurring dreams or nightmares, relationship problems, unexplainable physical symptoms, eating disorders, and the sudden onset of cravings for or addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex or smoking.

Other signs include negative emotional or physical reactions to the idea of cleaning your aura or spirit body (such as “part of you” wanting to do it and “part of you not wanting to do it), reckless behavior, poor memory and concentration, feelings of being followed, feeling drained, sudden unexplainable physical problems and recurring dreams or nightmares.


The most common ways of picking up such unwanted and uninvited energy is by weakening the energy field or aura with alcohol, drugs, extremely emotionally trying circumstances, or through sexual abuse, abusive relationships, injury, surgery, or illness.

Some ways to avoid picking up negative energy include the following:

  • Avoid drugs and excess alcohol
  • Avoid negative people
  • Mentally surround yourself with White Light several times each day. Picture a bright light shining out from your solar plexus, surrounding, and protecting you whenever you think of it. Ask for assistance from God and/or guides of the Light
  • Mentally fill your home and/or office daily with White Light.
  • Burn sage to help clear your energy field and residence.
